*I like Magic resist glyphs for all around safety and magic resist is always a good pickup unless going against full ad.

Liandry's torment and morello's is great with you're mushrooms for the burn effect and reduced healing effect.
Morello's is a great item for cheap cool down reduction.
Death fire grasp is great combo ed with blind dart auto combo.
Void staff and death cap maxes out mushroom damage.

Works great with teemos kit(extra on hit damage) (cooldown reduction) (Attack speed)
You can swap out morellos for this item when you don't need the reduced healing effects.

Skills

Camouflage
This is Teemos stealth, it can be used for a number of things, vision, hiding from ganks, hiding on map for split pushing or hiding in bushes to set up kills.
Blinding Dart
This is Teemos blind, it can do lots of damage combo ed with a auto attack with death fire grasp or lich bane. It is great for out trading basic attack reliant champs. I max second because the all around damage from toxic shot is greater, i only max this first against champions like Annie who can get the drop on you before you can auto attack so you can just poke with blind.
Move Quick
This is Teemos kiting his get away, his speed. It can be great for securing kills, escaping close situations and great for kiting.
I max last because you need the damage first from q and e.
Toxic Shot
This is Teemos bread and butter it is his burn damage, it gives you on hit damage and over time damage making last hitting easier and can just melt down enemy champions.
I max first for stacking damage and blind dart has a great flat damage even early levels.
Noxious Trap
Teemos mushrooms are great for taking objective control and control of the map, protecting from ganks and stacking in fights for aoe damage. Applies on hit effect so with liandrys and morellos can do serious damage, try to focus you're mushrooms more by dragon or baron later.

Champion Matchups

Annie is very hard for teemo mid lane. Annie pretty much just forces you away with constant kill pressure and stuns and will out trade you're harass later. When she gets ult she can usually kill you if you get to close so you should just start stacking out shrooms at this point and avoid her in 1v1 situations.

These are the type of enemies that you will thrive against, she is weak early and is mostly skill shot reliant. Teemo is best against skill shot reliant champions and can easily dodge with w move speed. Pretty self explanatory dodge her skill shots and go in for basic attacks and blind dart until she runs back.
Pantheon

Pantheon mid is hard for Teemo because he has his passive that will stop some of you're harass and he can all in you very early with high damage and stun. You need to try to blind before he stuns and get auto attacks off after her runs when his burst is over. You can try to shut down some of his roaming with mushrooms.
Zed

Champions like this can be somewhat in the middle hes beatable but not so easy. If you are not careful an assassin can get the jump on you and kill you early or at any point and take over from there.

Early Game

Early game for teemo will consist of mainly just last hitting easily and basic attack harassing down enemy's when they come to farm and are open. If you are ganks try to dodge back in forth with w and run back to tower. If you lose early game it is not the end of the world because you will still have mushrooms that will bring a lot to you're team.

Mid Game

You should have some core items and have dragon and there jungle littered with mushrooms and make sure you're team knows that dragons safe with mushrooms for a free dragon.

Late Game

Late game you're mushrooms will do around 800 damage a shroom and you should have baron and start putting mushrooms in lanes to clear creep waves if enemies are pushing any one lane a lot.

Teamfights

Team fights, teemo has one specific job and that's lay mushrooms to fight enemies in and deathfire grasp blind dart auto combo the enemy carry and take out enemies from there.

Teemo doesnt scale well with CDR btw.

would a higher sustain start like say boots and pots/picking up dorans shield against high poke ap mids such as brand or cassiopiea work our would you suggest still starting with dorans ring and pots?
